Voting Kerry?

Praytell why? Really, I'm curious about your reasons. Call it research. (I promise not to render any coments at all)

Hey Linda! Herbalife is fabulous, isn't it? I just love the stuff :) Thanks for the mention! Have a great Monday

GT,

While it took forever to find on his site, my reasons (including some rebuttals by his readers) can be viewed here. I was just too damned lazy to write them all over again. LOL

Please feel free to comment. An exchange of ideas and thoughts between people with different points of view can be very informative for everyone involved. I think I trust you enough not to outwardly insult me. ;)

Ya know, even though you will probably vote opposite the way I will, I still find your page interesting as they get. Your mind as well.

I gather that the only areas you and I might agree on are abortion and (in a core extent, not application) on marriage issues where same sex is concerned.

Virtually everything else we're going to differ.

I think raising the minimum wage, like any other form of price fixing, is a bad idea and hurts in the long run more than it helps.

Gun Control is largely over done. I think the gun rights have been trampled on in a way the public wouldn't stand for if it were free speech rights.

So on and so on, but it's pretty clear from my blog that I'm a righty. One might go so far as to call me a libertarian (but that'd be stretching it a lot).

On a side note I've come to hate the terms Liberal and Conservative and try to avoid using them in the modern fashion because they no longer mean what they should. So I prefer right and left, since that's a little close, though still not as accurate as I'd like.

Thanks Dick! I'm proud to have never been accused of being "ordinary." :)

GT,

I'm beginning to hate those terms used as well, mostly because the definitions are so skewed right now. Even the terms left and right are a bit skewed. Without a doubt, this will be one of the most interesting election years EVER! My mother-in-law, who has voted democrat her whole life, is on the fence and has stated that she will most likely vote for Bush. 9/11 changed people.

Indeed!

When some people I know go on about how teh war isn't everthing..

I like to quote Ron Weasly, in the 1st Harry Potter movie. It's in reference to Hermionie say death wasn't as bad as being expelled.

"She's got to get her priorities straightened out!"

It expresses my frustation with people who nit pick over social issues that can be fixed later and a war we've got to seriously persue if we want to live. (that's my seeing of things.)

So I can fully understand someone jumping hte fence for a canidate they're not as fond of but has the "correct" attitude about busting terrorist and the snits who harbor/support them.

IMHO

Well, we have to finish what we started with regard to Iraq. Whether there was reason to be there to begin with or not is almost irrelevent. I definitely believe we need to continue with the war on terror, but I think the primary target needs to be bin Laden, the mastermindfuck of 9/11. I was really disappointed to hear that our focus in Iraq took necessary resources away from that goal. Sure, we're getting some distantly involved bad guys...but I want to see that asswipe bin Laden, who stole a part of America away from us, burn! Oh, and all the beheading SOBs too!
