1. Have you made lasting friendships via your blog that grew into a ‘real life’ friendship?
Not yet.

2. How many of your offline conversations with friends, family, co-workers contain the words, “I blogged about that the other day….”?
That seems to be happening more lately. Also included are what others have blogged about as well. For instance, a topic will come up with my husband and I'll say, "Lisa was just talking about this on her blog."

3. Regarding blog templates - have you made any cool updates to your digs?
ANY updates? Ha ha heh ha... I make changes almost every day to my style sheet. I still don't have a banner that I love. But, I keep working on it.

4. Have any blogs given you inspiration this week - - good, bad or ugly?
JustBeingReal has a little bit of everything, but all of it from the heart of its writer. His recent post on returning to the church of his childhood, is not to be missed.

I always find that A Small Victory can take inspiration where it needs to go. You will find a more current post on Michele's site about Gay Marriage, but this initial one is succinct and accurate.

I haven't sent out kudos to this blog in a while, but when I’m asked about inspiration, this is the first blog I think of - Captain's Quarters. Captain Ed and I are almost complete political opposites...but I respect him greatly. I could go on here forever about him, but you should really just visit his blog and keep it on your favorites list. Here’s one of my favorite posts of his. Oh, and the CQ has actually taken on another blogger named, Whiskey. She is a great addition.

Meryl is pretty damned inspiring. Her content is that which is close to my heart...so it can be very emotional for me at times. I almost have to gear up to go there. For instance, one of her most recents post is about the differences between soldiers and terrorists. I completely concur with her closing statement.

Jeff, at Protein Wisdom, is inspiring too...but you have to "get it." I definitely think he could give Dennis Miller a run for his money with some of his references. If you don't pay attention to the news, a lot of things will likely go over your head. But, if you do pay attention to the news, he's really very brilliant. An Example!
